4 Advantages of Using Electrical Kettles While Working From Home

Productivity at work is often linked to how alert you are at times you need it the most. Tea or coffee are pantry staples that keep you awake during crunch time. If you are someone who cannot last a day without it, then you will need an appliance that provides you with instant hot water at any time of the day. Kettles are the solution to your caffeine woes.

Most offices already have hot water available via automatic dispensers. But when you work from home, that is not the case. You will often need to heat water at the speed of light if possible, especially if you need a wake-up fix minutes before a crucial online meeting. Kettles can do that for you and so much more.

Healthy, clean water at your fingertips

Aside from your coffee or tea break, hot water has other uses as well. The history of disinfecting water by boiling goes way back to prehistoric times because of the belief that clean water is linked to being healthy. People now are lucky because there is no need to use ancient techniques such as electrolysis, coals, charcoal-filtering, and copper-dipping to get clean water. Imagine how much time it would take for those processes to produce a cup of piping hot, drinkable water. Fortunately, you now get clean, potable water for your hot-drink needs by simply using an electric kettle.

Time-saving

When you work at home, you want to spend every minute being productive. You do this because you do not want to work at a hurried pace. If you are sluggish the whole day, that will lead to unnecessary (and sometimes, even unpaid) overtime hours. A cup or two of caffeine during your shift will perk you up. However, putting water in a kettle and heating it over a stove takes time. And unfortunately, you do not have the luxury of time.

Nowadays, you do not need to use ancient processes to produce a cup of piping hot tea or coffee. Using an electric kettle speeds up the method. Put enough water in a pot, press the switch, wait for a couple of seconds (or minutes if you poured in more than two cups), and voila! A perfect, hot water temperature that is good enough for either your Earl Greys or Cappuccinos.

Economical

Your house bills go off the charts when you start to work from home. Aside from the fact that you now get to cook your lunches at home, you also consume electricity for your other appliances. When your tab goes up, so does the need to earn and save more money to pay for them. Heating water in the way your forefathers used to do will add more to your house-bill budget, especially if you do it several times a day.

However, an electric kettle saves you the trouble of clicking your stove on and off throughout your work time. It only takes seconds to heat, and you can boil a couple of cups of water so that it would last you the whole day. There are even some kettle models that can be programmed to keep the water warm for a certain number of minutes or hours.

Portable

Traditional kettles are bulky. They are also difficult to store in cupboards and equally challenging to clean. An electric kettle occupies less space on your kitchen counter. If you do not want it there, you can keep it in a cabinet until next use. Or if your work desk is big enough, you can station it there so that you do not need to stand up to fix a cup.

Modern kettles are fast becoming the new norm in regular work-from-home habitats. It is best to get one to ensure that your caffeine fix is met at the time you need it the most.
